Quo Vadis Dive Resort is one of the best beach resorts in South Cebu for those who are looking to try scuba diving or snorkelling, some of the best activities to do in Moalboal. There are a variety of rooms to choose from at Quo Vadis Dive Resort, from their Garden View room to a Premiere Suite to fit most midscale budgets.
With a host of facilities, you can choose to treat yourself to refreshments at the pool’s swim-up bar or take a bite to eat at their Sea View Restaurant. Turtle Bay Dive Resort is one of the most luxe beach resorts in South Cebu, ideal for families who enjoy both diving and the finer things in life. You’ll have direct access to 20 epic dive sites in the area, not to mention our favourite snorkelling spot in the Philippines is right along the shoreline. Aside from diving, take a dip in the lagoon swimming pool, and if you’ve got little ones with you fear not, there’s a designated kiddie pool.

You’ll feel closer to nature at Kasai Village, away from the hustle and bustle of the popular Panagsama Rd tourist strip. Down South 118 is personally one of our favourite beach resorts in South Cebu, having stayed there for a few nights in 2019. Located on a private beachfront along the Oslob coast, this boutique resort has one hell of a view. Whilst it may not have a pool, you’ve got the entire sea on your doorstep, as well as space to soak up the sun and alfresco dining space.
Enjoy spacious, Mediterranean-inspired accommodation and stay connected all holiday long with free WiFi in all the rooms. Kids (and kids at heart) will stay busy with a dedicated games room, and you’re welcome to BYO food to grill in the provided BBQ facility.
Ging-Ging Hotel & Resort is conveniently located not far from the centre of Oslob town, less than a 5-minute drive to Gaisano Grand and 15 minutes to the Oslob whale sharks. A large indoor & outdoor lagoon-style pool takes centre stage at Ging-Ging Hotel & Resort, along with breathtaking sea views from their beachfront restaurant.
Whilst the resort is quaint with only 16 guestrooms, it’s still ideal for big family or group trips with an 8-Bed Dormitory you can book exclusively. For something a little more lavish, opt for their Deluxe Family Suite with pool views.
Seafari Resort is one of our all-time favourite beach resorts in South Cebu. Unwind at Seafari Resort’s infinity pool with its panoramic sea view or take a dip in their outdoor hot tub. Complete your relaxing stay with a massage and take it to the next level with a massage by the beach. If you’re looking for something a little more active, they also offer canoeing, snorkelling and diving.
Their alfresco restaurant serves up some delicious food and their cosy outdoor lounging area is the perfect spot for a coffee. You can also take a stroll in the tropical gardens with plenty of picturesque spots to snap a pic for the ‘gram. With 10 cozy and affordable accommodation rooms featuring sea views, staying in has never seemed more appealing.
Alegria Water Front Beach House is one of the more contemporary, upmarket beach resorts in South Cebu, with modern rooms featuring pool and sea views to choose from. Plunge into their infinity pool right in front of the private beach or sit back and sunbathe on the deck. Make the most of the resort’s amenities with a shared kitchen and lounge space for guests.
Explore your surroundings on two wheels with the resort’s exclusive guest bicycle rental, a good way to discover more around the area. If it’s on your agenda to visit the famous Kawasan Falls, you’re in luck as Alegria Water Front Beach House is conveniently located 5 kilometres from the falls.
It doesn’t get much more exclusive than Badian Island Wellness Resort. The private island resort focuses on therapeutic service, with a unique swimming pool that contains ionized seawater, also called Thalasso, which has properties that rejuvenate your body. A spa day is a must at Badian Island Wellness Resort, where you can opt for your spa treatments at the beach or the spa village.
Relish in their elegant Filipino-inspired suites including their Thalasso Pool Villa featuring its own private Thalasso pool. Taste their variety of Filipino and International cuisine at their open-air Panorama Restaurant and enjoy drinks at the Bangka Bar. If you’re keen for a night out by the beach with acoustic music, the Shell Beach Bar is the place to go.
Looking for a private island getaway? Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is a must-visit if you’re looking to escape.
