Boho Dreams Grill & Cafe in Dumaguete is as adorable as it is delicious, with an enormous menu and generous portions. Funnily enough, we lived next to this place for 2 months at the start of the pandemic, but only managed to visit after we had moved. Had we known how tasty it was, we probably would have gotten takeout from here every night!

THE VIBE AT BOHO DREAMS GRILL & CAFE
The ambience at Boho Dreams Grill & Cafe is the first thing we noticed when we arrived. It’s super charming, with fairy lights and murals painted on just about every wall. The alfresco dining area was set up under glittering lights strung across tree branches, and if you go on the right evening, there’ll be a live acoustic band set up.
We decided to eat in the small indoor area, which gave us more privacy for our romantic date night. It was decorated to fit the vibrant boho theme with bright prints and tapestries, tropical plants and feel good quotes.
THE FOOD AT BOHO DREAMS GRILL & CAFE
Owned by a well-travelled Australian and Filipina couple, the menu was extensive with dishes we haven’t seen in many other places in Dumaguete. We started with a charcuterie board overflowing with imported cheese, cold cut meats, pâté and pickles! The Aussie in Zowie was squealing with delight. You can get a platter for 1 – 2 people to share for $10 USD (499 PHP), or pair it with a bottle of wine for $25.
After we devoured our charcuterie board, it was time for the main course. Carson ordered the boho burger and fries and Zowie opted for the grilled chicken and rice. Both were delicious, and just writing this makes us crave it all over again. The boho burger with fries was only $3 meanwhile the grilled chicken with rice was $3.40. It was an absolute steal for the quality of food we got.
We enjoyed every bite of our meals at Boho Dreams Grill & Cafe and can’t recommend it enough to anyone and everyone in Dumaguete. We actually went back a few days later to try their breakfast menu and we were just as impressed with our smoothie bowls and English brekky. If you’re looking for an affordable and delectable restaurant for your next date night (or day!) you should definitely check out Boho Dreams Grill & Cafe.
