Okeanos Moalboal is funky little cafe in the heart of Panagsama, known for its vibrant atmosphere and ultimate good vibes. What was once just a little hotel has since expanded to include a cafe, attracting day visitors and overnighters alike. Since we were staying at an airbnb just down the road, we decided to swing by for dinner one night to see what all the hype was about, and we were not disappointed!

WHERE IS OKEANOS MOALBOAL
Talk about prime location! Okeanos Moalboal is right on Panagsama Road, the main strip in Moalboal where all the action happens. It’s just a few hundred metres from Panagsama Beach and the famous Moalboal sardine run, so it makes a great to eat before or after a snorkel.
GOOD VIBES AT OKEANOS MOALBOAL
The first thing you’ll notice (because it’s hard not to notice!) is the colourful and psychedelic murals painted everywhere. The bright furniture, fairy lights and tasteful use of hardwood elicits nothing but good vibes, from the moment you step inside.
GREAT FOOD AT OKEANOS MOALBOAL
Of course, good vibes will only get you so far in a restaurant review! Luckily, the food at Okeanos Moalboal is just as good, if not better, than the ambience! They have a strong focus on Greek cuisine, but if that’s not your thing don’t worry, their menu is extensive. You can check out the full menu here. They also do unlimited wings with fries and ice tea on select evenings for P249 or $5 USD! What a steal.
Okeanos Cafe is definitely a must visit while you’re in Moalboal. It’s such a cosy little spot to enjoy good food with good company, and is one of our favourite hangouts in town.
