There’s no doubt Bantayan Island is home to some of the best beaches in Cebu, but Paradise Beach Bantayan may just be the best on the island. A visit to Paradise Beach Bantayan will make you feel miles away from the rest of the world, tucked away on your own little private oasis.

Crystal clear, vibrant blue waters and powdery soft sand await you at Paradise Beach Bantayan, so make sure to add this Bantayan Island tourist spot to your itinerary.

Best time to visit Paradise Beach Bantayan Island

Aside from visiting during good weather so that you can really see the bright blue water in all its glory, you should also try and aim to visit Paradise Beach Bantayan on weekdays. On weekends it becomes quite the local hotspot and can get very busy, which is the rule of thumb for most tourist attractions in the Philippines.

How to get to Paraside Beach Bantayan Island

Bantayan Island is small, so most people get around by scooter which you can find from rentals all over the island. Another popular mode of transport is bicycle if you don’t plan on going too far. You can usually rent a bike from your accommodation provider, or ask them if they know anyone.
Paradise Beach Bantayan is a little off the beaten track, but you’ll be able to find it on Google Maps under the name Sandira Beach. The map is a little vague, so take the second left after Paradise Beach Guest House and that will take you all the way to the beach entrance where you can park your bike/car/scooter.

Entrance fee

There’s a small 50 PHP entrance fee for Paradise Beach Bantayan, which is collected at a little tourist office by the parking area. You can also buy snacks and drinks to take with you to the beach – just don’t forget to take your trash with you!

What to expect at Paradise Beach Bantayan Island

Once you arrive at Paradise Beach Bantayan Island, there’s a small staircase that will take you down the rock wall and onto the powder-soft sand. This rock wall is what makes Paradise Beach feel so secluded from the rest of the world.

Nearest to the stairs there were a few local families enjoying the beach, but aside from them we had the place to ourselves. We got chatting to them and found out they were doing a little recreational spearfishing so Carson gave it a try. Whilst there were plenty of fish (and sea urchins) we weren’t able to catch any!
Down the far end of the beach, there’s a row of chairs and beach umbrellas if you need a little respite from the heat. After a couple of hours spent beach bumming, we had no doubt in our minds that Paradise Beach Bantayan lived up to its name.
